This year our spring cleaning will help nature. Instead of purchasing a chemical-filled and flammable air freshener, we will be making our own!
To create your own non-toxic spray, simply gather the following ingredients and mix them all into a spray bottle:
- ¼ cup of vodka
- 1 cup of water
- 15 drops of your lavender essential oil
- 10 drops of tea tree essential oil
- 5 drops of eucalyptus essential oil
Aside from being safe for the little ones and pets, your room will smell like a gentle and natural breeze, all day long! This natural air freshener will work great for your pet’s bedding as well. Don’t be surprised if you find your pet’s lounging around a bit longer than usual!
